No this is not a stupid Drake thing. Management has decided that all sections of this forum will be hidden from both public and registered members. Once you contribute to this thread and have properly identified yourself to one of the MODerators we will set permission controls.
Note: If you can currently see all of the forums you are accustomed to seeing there is no need to do anything.

our friendly admin, Richard M Stallmanbot will be along shortly to write down how this forums works, and the general rules and sort of thing.
suffice to say, if you are a user who is currently unable to see the general forums (sprots, beards, feeshing, lamentations, et al)then its because we don't know who you are, and we want to.
if you could see them, and now you can't, its because i am fucking aroudn with permissions and you just lost yours. as above, its because we don't know you and we want to.
for some of you, it'lkl be a mistake.
for some of you, it'll be intentional but we can certainly change that.
the upside of firering is that it's a pretty closeknit community of like minded people. we may not all agree, and i think some of us outright hate ohters, but we can all get along because there's a certain espirit de corps amongst the people here. when it turns out that certain people abuse the priveldige of reading some of the bullshit here and tkaing it to real life it's a pretty serious violation of trust, and a diminishing of the very thing that binds us all together.
short of it is we don't have to be friends, but we have to at least respect each other. if we dont' know you, then you're going to have to make yourself known. and because of a few assholes, you'r enow limited to this shitty little playpen to make it happen in.
